The UNT Libraries' makerspace, The Factory, promotes the cooperative and creative use of technology. We provide the UNT community with access to equipment, software, and training that promotes innovative, cross-disciplinary learning.
Please note: The last day to checkout items from The Factory is Friday, December 8, 2017. This will allow all materials to be returned prior to the end of the semester. We will conduct inventory during the intersession. Checkouts will resume on Monday, January 8, 2018.
Here's an automated list of our upcoming workshops. Check back periodically for changes or subscribe to this feed.
Note: Most workshops have a limited number of spots. Register here.

Do you have any questions, suggestions, or just want to share your project? We want to hear from you!
Our maker-techs come from diverse backgrounds and areas of expertise. You can easily identify them from their grey vests, and they'll always be happy to help you. Contact Judy Hunter for tours, course integrations, and other administrative needs.
Materials available from this service have been funded (in part) by a grant from the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services and Texas State Library and Archives Commission. (2016)
