Set in the idyllic Bavarian village of Mittenwald, Germany, the 10th annual Mittenwald International Master Classes offer an exciting week of kontrabass study with Jeff Bradetich Andreas Bennetzen, Alex Bayer, Christine Hoock, Alexis Scharff and physiotherapist Angela Gebler.

The week offers intense technical training, concerts, solo master classes, bass ensembles, improvisation and performance workshops and bass orchestra concerts in the streets of Mittenwald. Students attend from all corners of the world and return home with vital insights into playing and learning, and rich memories of working in a positive, supportive environment.

Mittenwald is the home of Pollmann basses and a tour of the workshop is included. Major sponsors for the International Master Classes are Pöllmann Basses and Pirastro Strings.
