The Office of Emergency Management and Safety Services is responsible for implementing programs that enhance the university's ability to mitigate, prepare for, respond to, and recover from large-scale incidents that threaten the safety of the campus community and/or the daily operations of the university. Our mission is “To provide a comprehensive and integrated emergency management system that coordinates resources, decision-making, and to protect lives, property, and the community through mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery from all natural and man-made hazards that may impact the University.”
