UNT alumnus Pramuan Burusphat takes photography beyond limits

Pramuan Burusphat photographyIn his native Thailand, Pramuan Burusphat ('79 M.F.A.) is considered a pioneer of conceptual photography with works that incorporate collage and drawing. The New Zealand resident recently had a retrospective of his work shown in Bangkok at the Kathmandu Photo Gallery and the Bangkok Art and Culture Center.

"My photography is about my passion and curiosity about changes in life and art," he says. "I naturally have gone in this direction because of my initial love for painting and drawing. I think art has no limitation or restriction -- rules are made to be broken."
