If I’m an alumnus/a, aren’t I already a member of the College of Information Alumni Society?
No. You must join the Alumni Society.  The COI Alumni Society is a separate organization from the UNT Alumni Association.  (You can join the UNT Alumni Association here.)  You can join online, by mail, by phone, or in person. Prior to graduation and your first year as a graduate you can join at a reduced rate.  

How do I become a member of the alumni society?
The College of Information Alumni Society has a dues based membership. You can join online, call 940-369-5274, or email ci-alumni@unt.edu to pay your annual ($25) and life membership ($250) dues. These dues support various programs as well as student scholarships.

Is my Alumni Society membership contribution tax–deductible?
Yes, your membership contribution is considered tax-deductible. Please consult your tax adviser for details.

Do I have to be a graduate to join the alumni society?
No, you can join as a student at a reduced rate.
