The University of North Texas Health Science Center is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to award continuing medical education to physicians. Objectives
- Define and list differential diagnoses steps related to respiratory distress in the pediatric patient,
- Discuss the etiology and epidemiology related to pediatric patients with bronchiolitis and other respiratory disorders/diseases,
- Make pediatric respiratory diagnoses by assessing history, physical exam, and utilizing the AAP guidelines,
- Identify appropriate treatment, as recommended by the AAP guidelines.
Target Audience
This activity was designed to address the educational needs of physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants with an interest in the care of children with pulmonary disease.
