Needs Statement

Patients are responding well to cancer therapies with more patients being cured with treatment. As patients continue to do well it is important for primary care doctors to understand particular nuances of patients’ cases following treatment for cancer. Moving forward increased communication for management of this unique patient population between PCPs and oncologists will be necessary. This presentation works to improve the understanding of cancer survivors as they follow up with their primary care physicians.
