ITDS Corporate Partners Program

The ITDS Corporate Partners Program acts as a catalyst to bring together the knowledge, skills and resources of ITDS Department and our business community to produce excellence in programs and students in the ITDS Department. By utilizing our partner organizations, faculty and student expertise the focus is on the areas of Information Technology/Business Computing Information Systems and Decision Sciences/Business Analytics. This focus is achieved through student education, research, educational seminars, problem specific projects and shared information through the network of partners, students and faculty.

Purposes & Goals

  • Support ITDS Department degree programs through provision of scholarships, alignment with student groups, provision of extracurricular learning for students, and support of faculty development in facilitating these endeavors;
  • Connect member firms with ITDS students and student organizations;
  • Support STEM activities by recruiting students into the areas of Technology & Business Analytics; we have been successful in growing our ITDS program by garnering student interest through facilitating student career future in the context of business;
  • Facilitate mutually beneficial relationships between the ITDS Department and partners from industry, government, and not-for-profit sectors and related professional organizations.

Partner Levels

  • $5000/year* -- Distinguished Partner
  • $10000/year -- Premier Partner
Benefits at the Distinguished Partner Level
  • Attendance for up to 5 persons per partner firm at 2 – 3 seminars per academic year that are focused on new and future directions as well as current issues in the practice and management of information technology and decision sciences
  • Input into the content of the seminars
  • Resume Book that contains resumes of the full pipeline of students in our programs (provides an early view of the students who are not yet on the job market as well as those who are)
  • Complimentary and priority access to present to our AIS and INFORMS student chapters
  • Attendance for up to 5 persons per partner firm at 2-3 ITDS Research Forums during the academic year
  • CIO or IT Director membership on the ITDS Department Advisory Board to develop future directions for the degree programs
  • 1 individual corporate recruiting event per year in the Business Leadership Building Atrium
  • 1 ITDS Corporate Partners Career Expo/reception per year
  • Recognition on ITDS Department website as a Distinguished Partner

  • Complimentary attendance at College of Business career fair (2 per academic year)
  • Complimentary attendance/table sponsorship at College of Business etiquette dinner with students (1 per academic year)
  • Recognized sponsorship for ITDS Department student travel to attend discipline related conferences/competitions on the Department website
  • Recognition as a Premier Partner sponsor of the 2-3 seminars per academic year on website and promotional material
