Medical Meal Plan

Conversion Process

There is no exemption from the financial obligation of a mandatory meal plan. If you have a medical condition requiring a special diet, you may submit a Medical Meal Plan Conversion Form for review. Please refer to the submission requirements below or the form itself for more information.

If approved, your Meal Plan will be converted to a Medical Meal Plan which must be used prior to the end of the semester. Important Note: You will be charged for the Meal Plan regardless of plan status.

Financial hardship exemptions are not evaluated by Dining Services. Contact UNT Financial Aid Office for assistance.

Submission Requirements

Submit the following items to the Dining Services office in person to be considered for the Medical Meal Plan:

• Medical Meal Plan Conversion Form.

• A doctor’s note outlining dietary restrictions and an acceptable sample menu.

Students will be notified whether or not they have been approved. If approved, students' meal plans will be converted to the plan they select on the Conversion Form.

Plan Conversion Options

Students approved may choose a plan from the following options. This plan needs to be converted in the Dining Services office in Crumley Hall #132 prior to the 2^nd Friday of the semester .

NOTE: Prices cover 1 semester. Unused meals and FLEX expire on the last day of the semester.
