Dr. Bhella serves as a Staff Cardiologist and the Director of Cardiac Imaging at the John Peter Smith Health Network. He is on faculty at the University of North Texas Health Sciences Center and the University of Texas Southwestern. Daily responsibilities include patient care, medical student and resident education as well as research.
Dr. Bhella graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina and completed residency training in Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern (UTSW) and fellowship training in Cardiovascular Disease at Oregon Health Science University. After this training, he completed additional one-year fellowships in Cardiovascular Physiology at UTSW and Advanced Cardiac Imaging at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, TX.
