Overview

Alzheimer's Association Greater Dallas presents information and education on the neuroscience of early diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia  – specifically with regard to breakthroughs in biomarkers, imaging, prevention, and the ethical considerations of all. The morning sessions and keynote luncheon are designed to meet the educational needs of neurologists, psychiatrists, internal medicine and family practitioners, and other health care professionals (MDs, DOs, NPs, PAs, clinical nurse specialists, etc.) who are involved in the assessment and care of patients with cognitive impairment. The luncheon and afternoon session are open to non-professional caregivers and community members seeking education and support.

The University of North Texas Health Science Center is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to award continuing medical education to physicians.
