Leadership

Blake Irving , , , Chief Executive Officer

“We will radically shift the global economy toward small business by helping people to easily start, confidently grow and successfully run their own ventures.”

As CEO and Board Director of GoDaddy, Blake brings passion and vision—along with serious tech credentials—to the role. Before coming to GoDaddy in 2013, Blake was EVP and Chief Product Officer at Yahoo!, where he expanded monthly users to nearly one billion, launched 180 new Yahoo! websites worldwide and rolled out products in 23 languages and 30 new markets.

Prior to Yahoo!, Blake spent 15 years at Microsoft creating world-changing consumer products like NetMeeting, MSN Messenger and growing Hotmail to the largest mail service in the world. As Corporate Vice President of the Windows Live Platform, Blake led the company’s global Internet development and operations, managing a $1 billion global R&D budget and overseeing development teams in the US, India, China and Europe.

Scott Wagner , , , President and Chief Operating Officer

As GoDaddy's President and COO, Scott manages the company's business operations, channels and markets globally.

Prior to Blake Irving’s appointment as CEO in January 2013, Scott spent six months working on several strategic growth initiatives as GoDaddy's interim CEO—including the company's expansion into India.

Before joining GoDaddy, Scott spent 13 years with global investment firm KKR, where he served as a KKR Capstone Member and the long-time leader of its Portfolio Operations team.

Scott holds a B.A. from Yale University and an M.B.A. from Harvard University. Outside of work, Scott enjoys what he calls the "parental decathlete"; of life with three children between the ages of seven and eleven.

Barb Rechterman , , , Chief Marketing Officer

As Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Customer Officer, Barb oversees all facets of corporate marketing and strategic end-to-end customer relationships. Barb creates programs and promotes consumer-related functions with a unified vision to provide a consistent customer experience and value. All while including strategic planning and business development for Marketing, Global Branding and Product Management.

She has teamed with GoDaddy founder Bob Parsons for more than two decades, having previously served as Vice President of Application Development for Parsons Technology and as President during the company’s acquisition by Intuit, Inc.

Barb earned a B.A. in Accounting from the University of Dubuque and is a Certified Public Accountant. When not working to help small business owners and others leverage the power of the Internet, Barb enjoys riding Harleys with her husband and training her four horses in dressage.

Ray Winborne , , , Chief Financial Officer

As GoDaddy’s CFO, Ray manages the company’s finance functions including financial planning and analysis, controllership, tax, treasury, internal audit and investor relations.

Ray brings more than 20 years of experience leading finance teams in global companies with significant operating scale and complexity. Before joining GoDaddy in 2016, Ray was Chief Financial Officer of First Data, a global leader in commerce-enabling technology and solutions. He played a catalyst role influencing the direction of company with respect to product pricing, wholesale channel engagement, the card issuing business and the need for transformational change in the small merchant business segment. Ray was also pivotal in the strengthening of the company’s balance sheet, refinancing nearly $24 billion in debt. Prior to First Data, he served in senior financial leadership roles at Delta Air Lines and AT&T. Ray began his professional career at PwC in Atlanta.

He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Troy University. Away from the office, Ray enjoys time with his wife Stefanie and two boys—both Tigers (Mizzou & Auburn) and loves to ski, golf, boat and hike.

Steven Aldrich , , , Chief Product Officer

It’s Steven's job to deliver innovative, integrated and differentiated products that customers love.

Steven joined GoDaddy in 2012, initially leading our Productivity business. He spent over a decade at Intuit, where he helped grow the consumer and small business divisions by moving them from the desktop to the web. He also co-founded an online service that simplified shopping for insurance and has been the CEO of two other venture-funded start-ups.

Steven earned an M.B.A. from Stanford and a B.A. in physics from University of North Carolina. Steven serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Blucora, a leading provider of technology-enabled financial solutions to consumers, small businesses and tax professionals.

After hours, Steven serves as President of the Board of the Bay Area Glass Institute, a non-profit glass studio, and enjoys spending time with his wife Allison and their son, Jackson, at many sports and arts events.

Andrew Low Ah Kee , , , Chief Revenue Officer

As Chief Revenue Officer, Andrew is responsible for GoDaddy’s go-to-market efforts around the world. The Global Market Operations team includes global functions for marketing, online sales & merchandising, pricing and analytics. It also includes GoDaddy’s international expansion efforts and regional teams. Andrew and his team are focused on driving in-year business results and enabling future growth through brand and market expansion.

Before joining GoDaddy in 2014, Andrew served as Director for KKR Capstone where he worked with the Consumer, Technology and Media investment teams to evaluate investment opportunities and accelerate portfolio company growth. He worked closely with GoDaddy since KKR’s investment in 2011. Before KKR he was a consultant with the Boston Consulting Group.

Andrew holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Applied Science from the University of Toronto.

Mike McLaughlin , , , Chief Customer Officer

Leading the Customer Experience team, Mike oversees the customer interactions that connect our products into a seamless experience, including the GoDaddy website, customer care, and support services. Prior to his current role, Mike led the Domains business at GoDaddy. He is a consumer Internet executive and entrepreneur with more than 15 years of general management experience, including expertise in ecommerce, online marketplaces, and subscription businesses.

Prior to joining GoDaddy, Mike was Chief Operating Officer at Glyde, an advanced ecommerce marketplace enabling individuals to simply and safely buy and sell used consumer goods, such as video games, mobile phones and tablets. Before Glyde, Mike was the general manager of eBay Motors' passenger vehicle business unit, where he drove strategic innovation and was instrumental in scaling the business.

Mike earned an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from the University of Virginia, where he was Phi Beta Kappa.

Mike is an outdoor enthusiast. He enjoys sailing, trail running in the hills of the Bay Area, skiing in Tahoe and playing at the beach with his family.

James Carroll , , , Executive Vice President, Global Platform Development

As head of Global Platform team, James drives the architecture and development for all of GoDaddy’s global business and product platforms, including the systems that power our global marketing and ecommerce systems worldwide to deliver enhanced customer relationships and services.

Before coming to GoDaddy in 2013, James was a Senior Vice President at Yahoo!, where he directed the company's global R&D centers in China, India and the Middle East. He also oversaw Yahoo’s content, social and membership platforms as well as the international delivery of all Yahoo! products and services worldwide.

Prior to Yahoo!, James spent 13 years as General Manager at Microsoft. While there, he managed the MSN international team and later, the Windows and Windows Live international teams.

Arne Josefsberg , , , Executive Vice President, Chief Infrastructure Officer and Chief Information Officer

Arne is responsible for leading GoDaddy’s evolution of GoDaddy’s globally scalable cloud and linking the latest advances in technology to GoDaddy’s cloud and IT strategy.

Arne joined GoDaddy in 2014 from ServiceNow where he served as Chief Technology Officer and oversaw the expansion of the company’s cloud strategy.

Prior to his time at ServiceNow, Arne had a more than 25 year career at Microsoft in various leadership positions. His roles there included General Manager building and operating Microsoft’s global cloud infrastructure, and most recently General Manager in Windows Azure.

Arne kicked off his career as an engineer at Bofors Aerotronics and Intel before moving over to Microsoft. He has a passion for driving technological innovations to help GoDaddy’s more than 17 million small business customers.

Charles Beadnall , , , Chief Technology Officer

Charles is responsible for ensuring GoDaddy engineering delivers a more powerful, integrated experience to customers through the adoption of key technologies and capabilities like public cloud and machine learning.

Before joining GoDaddy in 2013, Charles was responsible for ad serving and personalization platforms at Yahoo! Prior to Yahoo!, he held engineering leadership positions at Metaweb Technologies, Verisign and WR Hambrecht + Co.

Charles studied at Ludwig-Maximilians Universität and holds a Bachelors of Arts degree from Northwestern University.

Nima Kelly , , , Executive Vice President and General Counsel

Nima is General Counsel for GoDaddy, responsible for mergers & acquisitions, governance, corporate and patent litigation, and intellectual property matters, as well as customer-facing and third-party transactional agreements.

Since joining GoDaddy in 2002, Nima has served as project manager, Vice President of Wild West Domains (the company's reseller affiliate), Public Relations and Corporate Administration, and Deputy General Counsel. She also grew the company’s philanthropic efforts with GoDaddy Cares and developed the company's legendary holiday parties.

In her life before GoDaddy, Nima worked for Business Edge Solutions and Beechwood Data Solutions. She also practiced labor and employment law in New York City.

Nima earned her J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and a B.A., summa cum laude, from Gettysburg College where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. She loves music, the Yankees and will "drop everything to go to The Met in NYC."

Auguste Goldman , , , Senior Vice President, Customer Care

As head of GoDaddy's People Operations group, Auguste leads the charge to hire and develop the greatest team of talented individuals on the planet. Having previously led technology teams as GoDaddy's CIO (including Product Development, IT Operations, Information Security and R&D) Auguste brings a perspective and skillset to human resources that is unique in the industry.

Prior to 2010, Auguste served as Managing Director of Integralis Security Services in Stockholm, Sweden and CTO of Linde AG, the world’s largest natural gas company based in Munich, Germany. Auguste attended Dartmouth College and speaks Swedish and basic Russian.

Raghu Murthi , , , Senior Vice President, Hosting

As Senior Vice President of Hosting at GoDaddy, Raghu oversees our industry-leading web hosting and web pro services business, driving best in class performance and service for millions of web developers, designers, entrepreneurs, and innovators to help bring their ideas to life online. He joined GoDaddy after more than 20 years in the tech industry, in addition to running a private consulting company.

At Amazon he led the Kindle group with K-12 and college-level teams that delivered digital transformation to the classroom, as well as product development and Windows services. At Microsoft, he led the hardware and systems group for Xbox Kinect, driving end to end development of the system hardware. And at Intel he led teams focused on server and workstation product management, marketing, and market development.

Raghu graduated from Madras Christian College in biology and chemistry, before earning an MBA from Golden Gate University. He and his family live in the Pacific Northwest where he enjoys outdoor adventures, reads avidly, and is a passionate cricket fan.

Lauren Antonoff , , , Senior Vice President, Presence and Commerce

As Senior Vice President of Presence and Commerce at GoDaddy, Lauren oversees the development and operations of our website builder and E-commerce solutions for small business around the world.

Prior to GoDaddy, Lauren spent eighteen years at Microsoft, where she was most recently Director of Program Management for SharePoint, leading the effort to make the SharePoint a tool that people love to use to get work done. Her leadership was instrumental in building one of the most successful products and businesses at Microsoft, and helping SharePoint navigate the shift to the cloud.

While at Microsoft, she founded the Step Up Program, designed to increase the number of women in senior management roles by helping women become stronger candidates for these roles. Lauren studied Rhetoric and Political Science at the University of California at Berkeley.

Irana Wasti , , , Senior Vice President, Productivity

As SVP and General Manager for GoDaddy’s Productivity business, Irana leads teams that provide small businesses with tools and services that help them improve communication and run their businesses.

In addition, Irana founded GoDaddy Women in Technology (GDWiT) a networking organization with a mission to foster professional growth among women at GoDaddy as well as attract more diversity to the technology industry.

Before joining GoDaddy, Irana led product teams at Intuit, where she oversaw the launch of Quickbooks POS and mobile payments, enabling more than 100,000 merchants to “go mobile.” Irana began her career at IBM where she served in engineering and product leadership roles focused on technology solutions for enterprise customers worldwide.

Irana holds an M.B.A from Harvard Business School and a B.A. in Computer Science from University of California at Berkeley. She and her husband have two very active boys and enjoy traveling and discovering new cultures and cuisines.

Board of Directors

Charles Robel , , , Board Chairman and Independent Investor

Charles Robel is a retired Silicon Valley executive and private investor. He spent 26 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers and served as the partner running its Silicon Valley Software Services Group from 1985 until the mid 1990s. He subsequently managed the Technology Mergers and Acquisitions Group until his retirement in 2000.

From 2000 through 2005 Charles was a general partner at Hummer Winblad Venture Partners, a leading software industry venture capital firm. He’s currently lead director of Informatica Corp. and is also a director of DemandTec, Inc.

Charles holds a B.S. in accounting from Arizona State University. He serves on the board of several private companies and previously served on the board of directors of Adaptec, Inc., Borland Software Corporation, and McAfee, Inc.

Blake Irving , , , Chief Executive Officer GoDaddy Inc.

As GoDaddy's CEO, Blake oversees the company's day-to-day operations, as well as GoDaddy's strategic direction. He also serves as the Director of the Board.

Before coming to GoDaddy, Blake was Chief Product Officer at Yahoo, where he developed the unified product vision and strategy that lead to worldwide growth in Yahoo's PC and mobile users.

Prior to that, Blake held a variety of senior roles with Microsoft after starting his career with Xerox in 1981. He was involved with many products and services that are now staples of the Internet, including typography, personal communications, subscription services and back-end online advertising.

Blake earned a B.A. in fine arts from San Diego State University and an M.B.A. at Pepperdine, where he subsequently taught. Blake enjoys golfing, surfing, cycling and traveling with his family.

Bob Parsons , , , Founder GoDaddy

Bob Parsons is a serial entrepreneur. He sold his first company to Intuit, Inc. in 1994. Three years later Parsons started Jomax Technologies, renaming the company GoDaddy in 1999. In 2000, GoDaddy became an ICANN-accredited domain name registrar.

Bob is a decorated military veteran who served in the U.S. Marine Corps in Vietnam. He holds a B.S. in accounting from the University of Baltimore, which presented him with an honorary doctorate in 2008 and named him Distinguished Entrepreneur in 2010. He was also awarded Arizona Business Leader of the Year in 2007 and the Celebrity Fight Night Muhammad Ali Entrepreneur Award in 2011. In 2013, Bob was presented with the Visionary Award for his charitable and entrepreneurial achievements, which have provided invaluable direction, leadership and voice to the Greater Phoenix Area.

In 2012 Bob and his wife Renee created The Bob & Renee Parsons Foundation to provide critical funding to non-profit organizations. The Parsons reinforced their commitment to philanthropy in December of 2013 by publically accepting an invitation to join The Giving Pledge, an initiative started by Bill and Melinda Gates and Warren Buffett. They pledged to give away at least half their wealth – and likely much more – to philanthropic causes. During 2012 and 2013, Bob and Renee gave more than $137 million to various charities.

Brian Sharples , , , Co-founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of HomeAway

Sharples co-founded HomeAway with Carl Shepherd in February 2005. He raised over $400 million in private funding to acquire market-leading vacation rental websites around the world. Since then, Sharples has built HomeAway into a cohesive global network backed by a unified technology platform.

Sharples is the former president and chief executive officer of IntelliQuest Information Group, a supplier of marketing data and research to Fortune 500 technology companies. He also completed two successful public offerings and the subsequent sale of IntelliQuest to WPP Group.

An expert in technology brand strategy, Mr. Sharples has counseled several major brands, including Apple, Microsoft and Dell. He currently serves on the board of directors for RetailMeNot (NASDAQ: SALE), Fexy Media, and Twyla. He is an investment advisor to venture capital firm, Institutional Venture Partners, and private equity firm, Tritium Partners. Mr. Sharples is also a passionate entrepreneur and is currently involved with several startups.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in math and economics from Colby College and a master’s degree from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Betsy Rafael , , , Former Chief Accounting Officer at Apple

Betsy Rafael has more than 30 years of executive financial experience in the technology industry and joined the GoDaddy board in March 2014. Betsy held the position of Vice President and Corporate Controller for Apple since 2007, and in January 2008 was appointed to the additional role of Principal Accounting Officer until her retirement in October 2012.

From April 2002 to September 2006, she served as Vice President, Corporate Controller and Principal Accounting Officer of Cisco Systems, and held the position of Vice President, Corporate Finance for Cisco Systems from September 2006 to August 2007. Over the course of her finance and operations career, Betsy served numerous companies, including Ernst & Young, Sun, SGI, Escalate and Aspect Communications.

Betsy graduated magna cum laude from Santa Clara University with a B.S.C. degree in Accounting, and was appointed to the Santa Clara Board of Trustees in October 2012. She also serves on the boards of Echelon and Autodesk, Inc.

Greg Mondre , , , Managing Partner & Managing Director Silver Lake

Greg Mondre is a Managing Partner and Managing Director of Silver Lake, one of GoDaddy's three investors.

Since joining Silver Lake in 1999, Greg has worked extensively in private equity investing, particularly in technology and technology-enabled industries. Prior to joining Silver Lake, he was a principal at Texas Pacific Group, where he handled a variety of private equity investments including technology ventures. Earlier in his career, Greg worked as an investment banker in the Communications, Media and Entertainment Group of Goldman, Sachs & Co.

Greg graduated from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. in economics. He currently serves as a director of Avaya, Inc.; IPC Systems, Inc.; Sabre Holdings, Vantage Data Centers, and is on the Operating Committee of SunGard Capital Corp.

Herald Chen , , , Member, Private Equity & Co-Head of Technology, KKR

Herald Chen is a member of the Technology Industry Team within the Private Equity group at KKR, a major GoDaddy investor.

Herald initially worked for KKR from 1995 to 1997, rejoining the firm in 2007. He’s been directly involved with KKR's investments in Visma, Kodak, Sun Microsystems and Kindercare Learning Centers.

Prior to joining KKR, Herald was a Managing Director with Fox Paine & Company, Chief Executive Officer of ACMI Corporation, and Chief Financial Officer and co-Founder of Jamcracker, Inc. He also worked with Goldman, Sachs & Co.

Herald holds a B.S. and a B.S.E. from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business. He serves on the board of Visma.

John Park , , , Director, Private Equity KKR

John Park joined KKR in 2013 and is a member of the Technology industry team. In addition to GoDaddy, he is currently a member of the board of directors of SunGard Data Systems, Mitchell International, and Internet Brands, and is also involved with KKR's investment in Ping Identity. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Park was with Apax Partners, where he focused on investments in technology and participated in transactions involving Epicor Software Corporation, Activant Solutions, Paradigm Geophysical and Sophos. Previously, Mr. Park was a member of the mergers & acquisitions practice at Morgan Stanley. Mr. Park holds an A.B., cum laude, in Economics from Princeton University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

Richard Herrick Kimball , , , Founding General Partner TCV

Rick Kimball is a co-founder of Technology Crossover Ventures, one of three GoDaddy investors.

During his 26 years as a venture capitalist and technology investor, Rick has been involved in countless successful ventures, including Expedia.com, Fandango, Zillow.com and Allbusiness.com.

Prior to TCV, Rick was a Managing Director at Montgomery Securities, where he spent over 10 years focusing on telecommunications and data communications as both a venture capitalist and senior equity research analyst.

Rick holds an A.B. in history from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago. He is currently on the Board of Directors of KGB.com, Liquidnet, Techwell, and Trading Screen. He also serves on Dartmouth's President's Leadership Council, Trustees' Investment Committee and the Dartmouth College Fund Committee.

Lee Wittlinger , , , Director, Silver Lake

Lee Wittlinger joined Silver Lake in 2007 and is a Director. Previously, Mr. Wittlinger worked as an investment banker in the Technology, Media, and Telecom Group at Goldman, Sachs & Co., where he focused on mergers and acquisitions, and financing transactions in the technology industry.

He currently serves as a director on the boards of Cast & Crew Entertainment Services, GoDaddy and Vantage Data Centers. Mr. Wittlinger graduated summa cum laude from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Economics, with dual concentrations in Finance and Accounting.

On April 3rd 2017, GoDaddy Inc. completed the acquisition of Host Europe Group. HEG (Host Europe Group) is one of Europe’s leading hosting firms. GoDaddy intends to integrate HEG’s Europe operations to form GoDaddy EMEA. Host Europe Group serves small businesses and web experts in Europe and has built a thriving business.
