SPONSORED STUDENT PROGRAMS AT UNT

University of North Texas is the largest host of sponsored students in the State of Texas. UNT hosts international students representing more than 120 countries around the world. A few of the organizations, companies, and government agencies that sponsor UNT students include America-Mideast Educational and Training Services, China Center for International Economic Exchanges, Institute of International Education, King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Latin American Scholarship Program for American Universities, The Higher Committee for Education Development in Iraq, The Royal Thai Government, The Saudi Arabian Cultural Mission, The State of Kuwait, The Sultanate of Oman, The Turkish Land Forces, The Turkish Ministry of National Education, The United Arab Emirates, The University of Petra, and Vietnam International Education Development.

The mission of Sponsored Student Programs is to bring a large, diverse number of students and sponsoring agencies from a wide geographic area to UNT's academic degree and English preparatory programs by providing specialized services to sponsors and students in a systematic, accurate and timely manner. 

Sponsored Student Programs coordinates a variety of degree and non-degree seeking programs at UNT for undergraduate and graduate students.  They also work in conjunction with the Intensive English Language Institute to coordinate Academic English and cultural programs.

New circumstances require UNT to accept financial documents from the SACM portal only. UNT cannot accept financial guarantees from students.
Beginning August 2017, please submit financial documentation and guarantees from the SACM portal.
