SEC plans to approve Vanguard request to list actively managed ETFs

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on Friday said it planned to approve an application that would let Vanguard Group, the world's second largest asset manager, offer exchange-traded versions of its actively managed mutual funds.

NEW YORK The U.S. firm behind an effort to start an exchange-traded fund based on the cryptocurrency ether said on Thursday it planned to refile an application to list the security on Intercontinental Exchange Inc's NYSE Arca exchange after an initial filing was withdrawn.
