Atlanta

I’ve been coming to Park Tavern since I moved to Atlanta in 1998 when my husband and I first lived nearby in midtown. I can honestly say that some of the best memories I’ve had with friends and family have been made there. We really love the beautiful location, the delicious menu (I always get the chicken or salmon bowls and love the sushi, too!), the amazing staff (shout out to Sam who always takes such great care of us!) and the variety of events they host. Over the years, we’ve gone to so many fun festivals & parties they’ve hosted (oyster crawfish fest, st paddys day, killer tomato, spiralween, saints & sinners, etc.), a ton of amazing live music w/ big name artists and yet to be discovered ones (green concerts, music midtown, unplugged, sunset sessions, yacht rock, etc.), yearly holiday family celebrations (Mother’s day brunches, Easter brunches, ice skating with Santa, etc.), and many private parties and fundraisers that have generously benefitted the community (auctions for local public schools, children’s sports teams, Chattahoochee Riverkeepers, Piedmont Park Conservancy). I love it so much I even held my 40th birthday party there! Park Tavern is a jewel in this city and a staple in this community and I know without a doubt that the owners care for their employees and the people that live here. When football season is long over, and the beautiful spring days beckon people from all over Atlanta to the park, we will most certainly be there to support the wonderful people at PT who’ve always contributed so much to this city and who will continue to bring so many diverse, fun events here for all to enjoy!

I have been to Buckhead Saloon a few times and I always have a decent time. New Year's Eve was the best experience ever. It was our last stop but I wish we had came straight there. The best bartender I have ever met, Harley Davidson, made the night amazing. I believe that was his name. At the other bars it took us 10 mins just get the attention of the bartender and another 10 mins to get our drinks. Harley was attentive and super sweet. He got our order and drink as soon as we got there. He also let us know it was an open bar after we tried to pay while at other open bars the bartender would still take the money and not let us know. Harley Davidson is the best bartender there and I had a great time there. That guy def needs a raise, bonus or anything! Def will be back next year for New Year's Eve!

Had a wonderful staycation and chose to stay at the Mandarin Oriental. Exceptional service from every staff member we encountered. The king room we stayed was luxurious and spotless. We left to go to a play in the early afternoon. When we returned later that evening the room had been cleaned, dirty laundry folded and placed in a dirty garment bag, the bed had been made, just completely cleaned and organized all of our things. When we got back into our room later (after midnight) we ordered room service. Of course it arrived sooner than promised and was scrumptious. We then ate brunch at the Cafe and I had the best (French-pressed) coffee I'd ever tasted. Not to mention the brioche French toast with pecans and berries...To die for. Highly recommend. Can't wait to go back so we can use their complimentary Tesla to go to Phipps and Lenox.

Last night at Graveyard was dope! Great music & vibes courtesy of Don Chido and Proppa Jean Paul, the food was great, and the service / drinks were impeccable. Big thanks to MJ Lee for the invite and for continuing to bring solid entertainment to venues throughout ATL. Our only complaint was the drunken frat daddies that obviously missed the memo on "personal space," but that's just about anywhere you go on a college night lol.

We went yesterday for a friends 21st birthday brunch and endless mimosas. All around a pleasant experience. I contacted someone before hand to see if they took reservations (they don't btw), and got a quick and welcoming response. The decor was awesome, and included antler chandeliers (because it's in Buckhead) and dark wood. Toward the end, the bartender opened up the single pane windows to let in the breeze. The food was good, but the service was amazing. That's really why I'm writing this review. Our server, Shelly, was prompt, friendly, and we were taken care of the entire time we were there (which was awhile). She kept the (delicious) mimosas full, even after we checked out. Such a good server. She gets 5 stars for service. Thank you for facilitating a fantastic birthday brunch, Shelly!

Love the Westin! Staff was extremely friendly! Accidentally got put in a one bed room when I needed two beds but the bell guy walked us down to the desk and it got straightened out. Once again, even with the crowds checking in Friday, us part of them, the staff was very nice and helpful. I got the view I wanted, over Centennial, and had the best Birthday! Love staying at the Westin and will be next time I'm in Atlanta. Westin is also in walking distance to so much which just adds to a great experience and best place to stay.

Excellent location and very good Hilton property. It's easy to come from the airport, take the Marta to Peachtree Center and walk to the hotel without ever needing a vehicle and from there it is easy to go to any local attractions or corporate offices. The Executive floor is very good. The only thing I found not up to par is the restaurant food. Ordered a fried chicken entree and it was edible but definitely subpar compared to any franchise fried chicken place. The good thing is there are many other excellent restaurant options outside the hotel. It's a quick walk via the sky bridges to Peachtree Center where there are restaurants and other merchants.

My first time using Delta and changing at Atlanta from Houston to the Bahamas. Yes the airport is huge, but there were lots of staff around to help, it was bright and clean with some seriously good, original and interesting artwork everywhere. Had an excellent snack in the Mediterranean Café which felt like you were in a book shop and server Chaz was very friendly and personable. The bags were on the carousel fast too and there was a staff member turning each one so the handle was accessible - what a great service to enhance bag retrieval.

My husband and I went to the NYE Ponce City Market Rooftop Party 2016! This was a true, epic bash! When we got on the large loft size elevator, we were greeted by a female accordian player dressed in a "Roaring 20s" outfit. Once at the top, and the doors open, a gentleman who reminded me of an MC for a BigTop Circus, greeted us with a big welcome! We were greeted w/2 glasses of champagne by a young lady, and passed hor d'oeuvres. There were carnival games, an amazing DJ, 2 bars, and mini golf. Though it was wet & cold, the Ponce City Market service people made us feel so comfortable. The burlesque dancers, aerislists, acrobat performers, and "Roaring 20s female dancers" kept us entertained. The girls in full-on-body paint was a great touch and an awesome photo opp! There were no long lines to stand in for a drink, coat check, and many beautiful places to stand for a NYE picture. The 2017 ice sculpture was insane! The skyline was picturesque! I cant say enough about the guys running the carnival games...so accomodating and professional! This party felt like I was at a Manhattan VIP celebrity affair! Every detail was a touch of elegance. My only complaint was the passed hor d'oeuvres ended too early. Popcorn was served from about 9:30pm to 10pm. Really? The passed hor d'oeuvres lasted until about 9:30pm, but should have lasted until 11pm. Also, the charcuterie stations could have been maintained better. They became very messy and poorly displayed eary in the eve. This party was well organized, sexy, elegant, tasteful, and very fun. It was not stuffy, or slow, or boring. I loved that most of the male guests wore a tux, and the ladies kept it chic & sexy. We will be back next year! Hopefully there will be an early bird special for early sign up!

Nice venue. You can bring your own food and drinks and all of the seats have more than adequate leg room (u can even take a cooler in). Acoustics aren't great - it's an open arena - so u also have potential weather issues, but u can't beat it for a nice spring or fall concert.

You will never please everyone no matter what you do. My overall impression is the beltline adds another dimension to the city and the growth of the city is booming. It promotes people from all walks of life to get out, walk, exercise and enjoy the expanding growth of Atlanta. Something many Americans have forgotten about (exercise) in this era of technology. I think the beltline is bringing people together in different parts of the city and bringing new life to areas that were depleted for years. Whatever is done on the beltline going forward will not please all but it's the future of Atlanta and the growth of the city that will continue Atlanta as one of the fastest growing cities in the country. Growth and expansion are inevitable, can't we all get along. Life's to short to be unhappy.

Very nice and friendly enviroment. The art displayed is amazing, we really enjoyed it. I just put down 4 stars instead of 5 because the areas for the kids was not really organized, was difficult to get to the materials and it was all over the place without nobody keeping on with that, I think it is a great idea but it would be better with a different system,. Overall a great experience!

Fernbank Museum, very enjoyable. One of the best downtown Atlanta attractions I have been too. Clean, organized, interesting for all ages. Indoor museum attractions are world class. Café food was "museum" prices but the food was well above the usual "museum" grade choices. The part that my family and I appreciated most was the wonderful hiking trails, outdoor toddler play grounds and older kids "obstacle" style playground area. Great place!! Will be returning with family and friends.

It's Beautiful our son played on the indoor play ground, food was tasty, icecream delicious. I made my own mango and coconut yummmm, it was packed they need more parking spaces and better toilets of course it was a mess there were thousands of people here. I would let employees be pick up in a bus or park some where else that way there better parking arrangements the bands are famous so it was jammed with cars looking for parking also the show was free, I enjoyed Myself ♡♡♡♡♡♡♡.

Clearly the best Mall in the Atlanta metro area..... Just about any store you can think of is at this mall.... The Mall is huge with 2 floors... If you have the time and money you could shop in this Mall all day!!! Whenever your in this mall you should keep your eyes open because all the celebrities in the Atlanta area shop at this mall, it's possible to run into a celebrity at this mall at any given time..... Also a big food court with a great variety of places to eat..... I've shopped at a lot of Malls and this one is one of the best Malls I've ever been to.... Only complaint is that there aren't many stores in this mall for the middle class.... 95% of the stores in the mall are full of expensive merchandise catered towards the wealthy.... Not many stores in this mall at all for the middle class shopper.... Other than that It's all good!!!!

Was at the Masquerade yesterday for Powerman 5000. For those who remember the old venue, it was split into 2 sections: Heaven (on the second floor) and Hell (on the first floor). It's now split, on the same level, almost like a mini shopping mall. The temporary location is great, wish they could be there long term! They utilize a parking garage (instead of the free for all parking of the last place) and the inside of Hell looks and feels very similar to the old one. Not to mention, I arrived about 40 minutes after doors opened, and still managed to get pretty close without pushing or shoving and you can pretty much see the band close no matter where you stand! I love the Masquerade, I hope they get approved for permanent residence down the road!

Iris is THE BEST place for EDM on Saturday nights!!! There are several rooms with different styles of music for every kind of taste! The guys at Iris bring so much love and so much enthusiasm and the vibe is always wonderful! Glenn and Maddie treat everyone like family and are always so gracious to the crowd. I highly recommend visiting Iris!
