Christian Dean, the 2011-2012 University of North Texas System Student Regent was sworn in by Judge C. Victor Lander on June 29th at the UNT System Building. Christian Dean was appointed by Governor Rick Perry to serve as Student Regent on the UNT System Board of Regents. Mr. Dean is currently pursuing a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth. He received a Bachelor's degree in Molecular, Cellular and Development Biology from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences from UNTHSC.
