Fall 2016 & Spring 2017 Financial Aid Award Information

Fall 2016 & Spring 2017 financial aid, including loans, must be accepted on myUNT by noon May 12, 2017. For first time Stafford Loan borrowers at UNT, Entrance Counseling and a Master Promissory Note will also need to be completed. 

 

 

Alert:  Federal government suspends IRS Data Retrieval tool use

The IRS Data Retrieval Tool on fafsa.gov is currently unavailable. However, this does not stop you from applying for financial aid.  The online FAFSA remains operational. The income information needed to complete the FAFSA can be found on your 2015 tax return.

 

 

Summer 2017 Financial Aid Application

The Summer 2017 Financial Aid Application is now available online through myUNT.  The deadline to submit the application is July 10, 2017Read more about eligibility for summer financial aid.

 

 

The 2017-2018 Free Application for Federal Student Aid is available

The 2017-2018 FAFSA is available online. Students and parents should use their 2015 tax information again. UNT’s Priority Deadline was March 15, 2017, but applications are still being accepted.  Read more about these changes
