The College of Visual Arts and Design (CVAD) at the University of North Texas (UNT) assumes a critical role in building our region into a world-renowned center for culture and education. Emily Jean Hood, Sarah Travis, Dr. Amelia Kraehe

Art education doctoral students, Emily Jean Hood and Sarah Travis, co-authored a study with Dr. Amelia Kraehe, Assistant Professor of Art Education. The research article, titled "I'm So Offended!": Curriculum Flashpoints and Critical Arts Education, was published in 2015 in the peer-reviewed International Journal of Education and the Arts.

Holly York is an Associate Museum Educator in Public Programs at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville, Arkansas. Holly coordinates Youth and Family Programs that include classes for preschoolers to pre-teens, the teen council, family workshops, family days, and summer camps. She enjoys the variety that her job offers whether it's reading to children in the gallery or helping a zoo unload animals for a family day!
