In the Summer of 2011, I played around with creating several websites on facebook, each focusing on Growing Up & Living in Crowley, Louisiana, my hometown.

It went live that Summer, and since then, thousands of threads and tens of thousands of comments have been contributed.

During historic 1971 campaign for governor, I traveled with EWE some of the time and organized students at Louisiana's colleges and universities to volunteer and vote for EWE.

Consulted on and sold roses and cared for roses, plus held seminars on the growing and care of roses. Set new records for sales of roses, never since equaled, owner told me recently ... i owe this skill to my GMa - Lillian Broussard Bernard

Taught speech, storytelling, broadcast journalism and communication theory to students at a variety of high schools and colleges/universities in Louisiana, Texas, Washington, and Oregon.

Also taught Cajun Cooking, Cajun Dance, and Cajun Folklore to students in a variety of schools and settings.

Loved it. Always learned as much or more from my students as I taught them.

The most important subject I taught ? INTRAcommunications ( self talk ) : what we communicate to ourselves every single day - and how that self talk determines so much of (1) Who we are (2) What we do (3) How we feel.

Wrote feature stories for The Tulanian and for Newsletter. Thoroughly enjoyed co-workers and beautiful, stimulating setting.

Loved this job and got lucky, winning awards for my column on life in a Texas small town.

Campaign Specialist. Have worked in various campaigns since 1963. Candidates included Edwin Edwards, John Breaux, State Senator Mike Michot, State Rep. Gil Pinac, Judge Rick Michot, State Rep. & Cong. Chris John, and others.

I Love all aspects of all kinds of campaigns ( though writing and strategy are my favorites ), including retail and wholesale politics, marketing, sales, advertising, branding - anything you can think of having a campaign for, I'd love to join you !
