Throughout my executive retail and academic careers, my area of interest and focus has continued to evolve in the ecommerce and digital space. My passion combines my collective interest in the continually evolving retail landscape and customer behaviors that are the outcome of the digitally-enabled consumer, which presently impacts almost all facets of commerce. Where previously the retailer was in control of what, when and how consumers could make transactions and how much they would pay, the power has irreversibly shifted into the hands of the consumer and their always-available technology. The consumer today is channel-agnostic and retail is in a continual state of evolution, as new retail models and technologies render old paradigms obsolete. I seek to advance the thought, learning and conversation in the following areas:

  • Advancement of digital retailing
  • Increasing understanding and awareness of the science of multi-channel retailing
  • Promotion of best-practice website design and navigation
  • 360 understanding of the continually changing consumer shopping behaviors
  • Mentoring and developing the next generation of ecommerce leaders
