Richard M. Foxx, Ph.D

Dr. Foxx is both a Professor of Psychology at Pennsylvania State University and an adjunct professor of pediatrics in the College of Medicine. In addition to publishing 8 books, Dr. Foxx co-edited two books titled Making a Difference: Behavioral Intervention for Autism and Controversial Therapies for Developmental Disabilities. He cofounded the Pennsylvania Association for Behavior Analysis, was its first President, and serves as its executive director. Dr. Foxx has served as an expert witness in many court cases involving individuals with special needs and he is a licensed psychologist and Board Certified Behavior Analyst. |
Dorothea Lerman, Ph.D. |
Dorothea Lerman, Ph.D., is a professor of psychology at the University of Houston-Clear Lake (UHCL), where she coordinates a master’s program in behavior analysis and serves as director of the UHCL Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities. She received her doctoral degree in psychology from the University of Florida in 1995, specializing in the experimental analysis of behavior. Her areas of expertise include autism, developmental disabilities, early intervention, functional analysis, teacher and parent training, and treatment of severe behavior disorders (e.g., aggression, self-injury). |
