This is going to be the weirdest review ever, but I own a bar that has music 7 nights a week in Dallas, we have so many UNT players play at our bar, we are bles...sed.
The players that come and perform are outstanding in their performances and professionalism and we are so lucky to have such an institution so close by for our benefit.

Hey everyone, I am looking for someone to take over my 3x3 coed lease at Midtown-Denton starting in April, May or June! You have the biggest room, own bathroom ...plus the room comes with furniture, and a big walk-in closet! Rent is $634 per month with all bills paid. If you take it before June, I will pay half the rent. Please let me know if you're interested, either pm me or text/call 214-448-3892. See More

Back in the day I was awarded an instrumental music scholarship to Southwestern Oklahoma State University.I thoroughly enjoyed my studies there, and, I was Pres...ident of Kappa Kappa Psi for the 1970-1971 school year. I still have many friends on the faculty staff at SWOSU. That is how I heard about the UNT College of Music. I have heard many great things about your school of music. Keep up the good work. See More

I had a wonderful experience as a vocal and choral conducting masters degree student from '02-'05. My opportunities literally changed the course of my career, particularly my involvement with the early music area led at the time by Lyle Nordstrom and Lenora McCroskey.

Great tour. Lots going on. The student union building, just over a year old, is a wonderful place to hang out. Everyone is so nice and Denton is a terrific college town.

It has been a great experience, but as an individual, I have been overworked beyond what I am capable of. There has always been a struggle to find time to practice for all you are required to do...

Attended the Inauguration of the Raisin Organ and the beautiful concert that followed. The musicians played beautifully on instruments that some I have never been privileged to either see or hear. It was a beautiful concert. Thank you to all involved.

GREAT GRADUATE: Lee Ann Harris is not only a great musician, she’s a great graduate. Lee Ann attended UNT in the 1980s and applied to graduate in May of 1988. T...hat final semester, 1 week before school was out, she got “the call” to join the band at the world famous jazz club The Baked Potato in Hollywood. Lee Ann left Denton before finishing her final class. For 25 years, she worked full-time in LA as a jazz, session and tour musician. According to “Musician” magazine, Lee Ann was the first jazz percussionist to cover all styles and all genres of music. She has recorded and/or performed with a wide spectrum of artists including John Williams, Peter Gabriel, Vince Gill and even The Muppets. Lee Ann was the first female in The One O'Clock Lab Band’s rhythm section and spent many a night playing with Brave Combo. Recently, she moved back to Oklahoma and decided to finally get her degree. She’s taking a math class that will transfer to UNT so she can walk in May and get her diploma in August. Way to go, Lee Ann!
