Direct Loan program

The University of North Texas participates in the William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan program which allows you to borrow loan funds directly from the U.S. Department of Education. This program will give you and your parents a more stable, streamlined, and predictable borrowing experience.

It is important that you understand that a loan is a legal financial obligation, with interest, that you will be responsible for repaying. If you decide to borrow loans, we encourage you to be a responsible borrower and know the terms and conditions of your loans.
