DNA Lounge has been a mainstay of SF Nightlife, and is the most welcoming for those whom don't fit the norm, with superior service and staff! Bootie SF, Hubba Hubba Revue, Turbo Drive, and so many other live music & events have helped to keep SF weird & fun for so many years! I encourage you all to please help support this great club as much as you can; grab your friends and those event tickets, buy those excellent drinks (including the absinthe!), grab the delicious pizza or breakfast next door at DNA Pizza (to soak up all that earlier mentioned alcohol).. For my sons 18th Birthday we decided to spend the day in San Francisco, in anticipation of the day I made a reservation for 12 at the Hard Rock Café. When we arrived the hostess informed me that they had tried to call me 2 hours prior but that she couldn't get through. Since they had a party of 50 they had no seating for us and it would be another 45 minutes. Had we simply been on vacation we would have wandered off and made our way back a little later no big deal. But we drove several hours to get to San Francisco to begin with, some of our party drove 3+ hours to get there and we all needed to get back home early enough to go to school/work on Monday morning. So I was more than a little frazzled. When I tried to explain that to the hostess all she said was "I tried to call you and I even left a message but you didn't answer or call back"...mind you I was driving to San Francisco while they called. Not really the time to take a phone call. The Hostess was completely rude, I could have screamed at how frustratingly condescending she was. My first thought was to walk out and find another restaurant but the principle of the matter just rubbed me the wrong way so I went back and asked to see the manager. That's when suddenly she had a table on the patio. When I asked if it was nice on the patio referring more to the ambiance than anything else ( why else do you go to the Hard Rock if not to see all the cool stuff) she looks at me as says "Well IT IS sunny" Um yeah I know that. Even just thinking about it gets me riled up, she should be fired. Once the MOD arrive everything took a turn for the best. He walked me out to the patio to show me what tables he could offer. He offered us a free appetizer and apologized profusely. This guy knows customer service! Not because he gave us free appetizers but because he was apologetic from the get go. He knew the reality was that I had made a reservation and that at the last minute they had messed that up. Even if he hadn't given us a single thing for free just him taking the time to show me the table and understand my frustration was all we really needed. Once we got to the table we had a little spit-fire waitress who handled our orders smoothly, filled every request, she was lively, funny, and a real joy to be around. The food was delicious as we expected and by the time we left our entire party was in high spirits. While I don't remember the MOD or Waitresses name you two were amazing. Thank You!! Been coming here regularly for over 30 years. To me this is the perfect San Francisco restaurant. The food is relatively simple California cuisine and the crowd is definitely a cross-section of San Francisco people as well as foodie visitors.

Relatively long line extending outside for boba tea at night. (It was my first time though so I didn't expect a long line) Price is a bit higher than at some places I've been to but the atmosphere is really friendly and the quality of the tea is definitely worth the wait. I'd personally recommend the lychee green tea if you want a drink that has a strong, sweet taste and isn't too bitter like other milk tea varieties.

This is one of the best places ive been to. The boys are beautiful the bartenders are beautiful and sweet. Well one could work on it a little bit. The one that faces the DJ is not as friendly as the other bar tenders but you cant always have the best. But none the less what a great bar. The upstairs has great setting really sweet bar tender upstairs as well. The only bad thing was they used wayyyyyyy too much fog. I heard a ton of people complaining about the fog. So Beaux if you could fix the fog this and the not so sweet bar tender down stairs you would have a perfect bar. We had a blast!!! Thanks Beaux!!!!!

I have had the privilege of experiencing SF Eagle from all different sides, a regular bar patron, working during Folsom and Up Your Alley Weekends, volunteering at coat check and of course hosting and promoting events like a beer bust. Through these experiences I can say wholeheartedly this is one of the best bars in The City. The bar staff are amazing and unique, the kind of people that are instantly your friends. The bar owners are two of the nicest guys I know and they truly care about SOMA, preserving its history and supporting local non-profits. All of that is very rare. I had the privilege of being a loyal customer when it was Eagle Tavern and it was great, yes things were a little cheaper and after the Tavern closed we felt a huge loss. When new ownership stepped up to take on reopening the bar I don’t think that many people realize what they had to do to get it back up to code. The roof had to be replaced, bars and walls rebuilt, in some spots the wiring had literally been pulled out of the wall. One heck of a challenge which they pulled off flawlessly to be this incredible place we can now call home. The bar is constantly growing and improving on itself and I for one am excited to see what the future holds.

This place is amazing! They know how to take care of their guests' we stayed for a night to celebrate our wedding anniversary and they compliment a bottle of champagne! Also the room was nice and big. They also have the M lounge for Elite and Gold members for snacks, drinks, light meals at night and great breakfast buffet! The coffee machine is awesome! Beats spending $ to Starbucks! Thanks again for a great stay! Will definitely stay here again! This hotel is centrally located in the heart of downtown SF! Easy access to train station and all tourist stuff! We stayed early December and I love the Christmas decorations! Staff is wonderful and very helpful! Thanks Marriotts for a fantastic stay! 👍🏻🌲🍷

It's the paradise of tourists - shopping, food, park, trams station, business, lodgings at various prices, you named it, they have it. You can use it as a starting point to go anywhere. First place to be if you are still undecided of your destination.

The Exploratorium is a great place to explore your inner sense of wonder! The exhibits are plentiful, well thought out and almost all of them are totally hands on! This is probably the most hands on museum I have actually ever visited. Touching and playing is encouraged. The exhibits are well laid out in sections which explore movement/physics, sight/color, human emotion, sound, time/perception, and natural sciences. There were lots of kids at the museum the day that I went. Apparently, there are "adult" nights where they open the museum for adults only (along with open bar). The complex covers all of Pier 15/17. Go to the top terrace of the museum to get great views of the Bay Bridge extending over to Oakland.

Loved the Off The Grid vibe with food trucks, stalls music and family friends and fun. Super chilled with games like corn hole tic tac toe and hopscotch and soft grass to lounge on while sipping beer and mimosa and eating fine fare

It's a beautiful place with awesome desserts and coffee. The staff is helpful and friendly. I'm diabetic so desserts are off limits. Some of the lattes are sugar free. I had the sugar free pumpkin latte. It was so yummy! I loved the warm and friendly atmosphere. It's really close to the beach. It was very chilli tje day I went. The latte warmed me right up. If you love chocolate, coffee and desserts make sure to stop when in San Francisco .

The museum did not disappoint in any aspect. Seeing the history of where he came from and the love and happiness he shared with his family really allows us to see how his vision has brought so much joy to each of our own families. The museum tells a beautiful story of the man we all have come to love.

Went there with my family, we all had a wonderful time! All the exhibits are very enlightening, the kids had a blast, the food was good too. We didn't know it was a free day, my sister paid for all 9 of our tickets but the customer service was wonderful and gave all of her money back. This is a fantastic place to learn all the wonders of Science while having a great time. I love the holidays set up as well. It was a great way to get into the holiday spirit! If you haven't gone here already, this is hands down one of the best museums you'll ever go to. It's absolutely amazing!

Every year we bring our kids to see Santa. We've generally been pleased with the Santas, however this years Santa was the absolute best, the real thing! Our 9 year old son was starting to question if Santa was real, now he believes and I'm sure he will for the rest of his life. They should bring back the Santa we had yesterday morning every year. I can stop telling people to take their kids to see him!

Had a great time shopping at Macys! Had wonderful service and staff was very friendly! They even had Starbucks in the store with a great view overlooking the park.
