- Long Description
The roadmap defines the Department of Defense (DoD) course of action to ensure that materiel standardsl used by the DoD, both commercial and government, continue to support the warfighters' operational requirements and are consistent with the new National Defense Strategy. It also serves as a means for prioritizing the Department's efforts in support of the development and maintenance of non-government and government standards.
