Objectives
You will learn to determine whether a contractor's proposal is adequate based on the requirements of FAR 15.4. Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:
(1) Perform an initial assessment of proposal adequacy prior to beginning audit field work;
(2) Determine the adequacy of the contractor's supporting data for individual cost elements based on FAR 15.4 criteria;
(3) Describe the contractor's and auditor's responsibilities regarding an adequate proposal;
(4) List the steps required when inadequacies are identified;
(5) Describe requirements.
