ENG 202 Applied Systems Engineering in Defense Acquisition, Part II
 Description
This course allows students to use the DoD systems engineering processes and techniques learned in Part I. Participants will work in integrated product teams and apply systems engineering technical processes and technical management processes to a defense system as it gets developed across the various phases of the acquisition lifecycle.

Target Attendees
This course is part of the Level II certification training requirement for the Engineering (ENG) career field. Additionally, members of other career fields who require an understanding of how systems engineering is applied to systems acquisition and sustainment will benefit from this course.
Prerequisite(s)
Required:
  • ACQ 203, Intermediate Systems Acquisition, Part B
  • SYS 202, Intermediate Systems Planning, Research, Development and Engineering, Part I
  • CLE 003, Technical Reviews

    Recommended:
  • At least 2 years of technical experience in an acquisition position to include industry or government equivalent from among the following career fields/paths: ENG; S&TM; IT; T&E; PQM; PM; or LCL
