CLB 014 Acquisition Reporting Concepts and Policy Requirements

Description
The Acquisition Reporting Concepts and Policy Requirements module introduces terms, policies, and requirements for MDAPs and MAIS programs, specifically, the APB, the DAES, the SAR and the UCR. Upon completion of the module, students will be able to apply these concepts and policies in the preparation and review of reports generated using the Defense Acquisition Management Information Retrieval (DAMIR) software.
Objectives
Students will learn:
  • . Identify common acquisition reporting terms and definitions.
  • Identify the steps in the process for creating an Acquisition Program Baseline (APB).
  • Identify the purpose and process for creating a Defense Acquisition Executive Summary (DAES).
  • Identify the purpose, reporting requirements, and general content of the Selected Acquisition Report (SAR).
  • Identify the key cost variance terms as they relate to the SAR and the steps for reporting SAR cost variances.
  • Identify statutory requirements and reporting vehicles for Unit Cost Reporting (UCR).
  • Identify Defense Acquisition Management Information Retrieval (DAMIR) capabilities.

    This module is primarily intended for Program Office and Program Executive Office (PEO) staff.
