Description
This course, along with CMTL 1117 (Orientation to Contract Audits), is the first in a series of self-study orientation courses. The orientation series is designed to introduce new auditors to DCAA, government contract auditing, and federal procurement laws and regulations. This course provides an overview of DCAA and DCAA's role in the federal procurement process.

Objectives
Upon completion, the student will be able to:
(1) Describe DCAA's purpose, organization, and information resources;
(2) Describe and locate topics in DCAA's Contract Audit Manual;
(3) Describe DCAA's role in the Federal procurement community.
