Description
In support of the Government's efforts to increase transparency in the expenditure of Federal funds, and as required by Section 3010 of the Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2010 (Pub. Law 111-212), FAPIIS information will be made available to the public in April 2011. This public availability, combined with the mandatory use of FAPIIS, heightens the need for training on the appropriate application of FAPIIS information to the evaluation of potential contract and grant awardees. This module meets this critical training need by providing the knowledge and skills needed to effectively use FAPIIS to make appropriate decisions related to contract and grant awards.
