3: Support Source Selection

PURPOSE:

Minimize risk of a contract being awarded to a contractor who is unable to manage property adequately to protect the Government’s interests.

Guidelines to determine whether prospective contractors are responsible: FAR 9.104-1(e)

OVERVIEW OF GOVERNMENT TASKS:

0. Attend pre-award conferences to provide support, clarify terms, and address Government property questions.
0. Determine whether prospective contractors have sufficient property control systems to meet the standards required, IAW FAR 9.104-1(e)
