PURPOSE:

Comply with the new Procedures, Guidance, and Instruction (PGI) and FAR, and improve accountability and management of Government property.

• Guidelines for furnishing Government property to contractors: PGI 245.103-70
• Policies and procedures for furnishing Government property to contractors: FAR 45

OVERVIEW OF GOVERNMENT TASKS:

0. Provide appropriate justification for exception to the rule that contractors will provide all necessary property
0. Define which items will be provided to contractor
0. Determine appropriate terms and conditions see 45.107, “Contract clauses” to include in solicitation
