Bi-monthly Records and Information Discussion Group (BRIDG) Meetings
| BRIDG is a bi-monthly forum for NARA to share the latest information with agency customers about what is happening in NARA Agency Services which is comprised of staff from the Office of the Chief Records Officer, Federal Records Centers Program, Information and Security Oversight Office, National Declassification Center, and Office of Government Information Services. The Pre-BRIDG Coffee Hour/Networking Session provides an opportunity for staff from the Federal Records Center Program, and our Appraisal team staff to engage with agency customers and share knowledge in an informal setting about best practices in records management. The Post-BRIDG Appraisal Team Meet and Greet immediately follows the general BRIDG meeting. Each meet and greet is hosted by a different appraisal team and open to agency RM staff associated with the host appraisal team group(s). |

Please note: Meetings will usually be located in the McGowan Theater (located on the basement level) at The National Archives and Records Administration building in downtown Washington DC. Circumstances may require last minute changes for a meeting time or location. We make every effort to contact registrants individually when changes must be made.

Meeting announcements are distributed via e-mail prior to each meeting. Please email RM.Communications@nara.gov if you would like to be added to Officer of the Chief Records Officer distribution list.
Suggestions for agenda topics may be forwarded to RM.Communications@nara.gov at any time.
BRIDG Registration
Registration to attend BRIDG meetings is no longer required.
Registrants for the Post-BRIDG Meet-and-Greet with appraisal teams should RSVP to the team supervisor that identified in the RM Communication meeting announcement or in the
Post-BRIDG Meet-and-Greet schedule.
Cancellation policy
Agency: Substitution of registrants is not permitted once a final registration list is provided to our host agency.
NARA: NARA reserves the right to postpone or cancel a meeting at any time. We will make every effort to contact registrants by e-mail and telephone if that occurs, so complete information at the time of registration is very important. Meetings WILL BE CANCELLED if the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) announces a "closed", "unscheduled leave", "unscheduled telework", and/or a "delayed arrival" policy for Federal employees for that day or if there has been an elevation to threat level RED in the Homeland Security status. Official Government closing and leave information is located on the OPM web site at at www.opm.gov.
Security: Most host agencies require a Federal photo ID or some other positive form of identification. Your name will be checked against a final registration list that we provide 3 business days prior to each meeting. Each host agency decides how to handle last minute substitutions.
