Visas

The U.S. Consulate General in Wuhan does not yet offer visa services. Visa applicants from Wuhan’s consular district may apply for visas at the Embassy in Beijing or at one of the other U.S. Consulates General (Shanghai, Shenyang, Chengdu, or Guangzhou).

For added convenience, the U.S. mission to China allows Chinese citizens resident in any province or autonomous regions to apply at the U.S. Embassy in Beijing or any of the U.S. consulates where visa services are available: Guangzhou, Shanghai, Shenyang, and Chengdu. Visa application procedures can be found at www.ustraveldocs.com.

If you have an unforeseen travel need, you may qualify for an expedited appointment or for drop-off visa renewal service, depending on availability at the Embassy or Consulate General. Please click here for more information on requirements.
