The Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) is a free service provided by the U.S. Government to Americans who are traveling or living in a foreign country. Enrollment allows you to record information about your upcoming trip abroad that the Department of State can use to assist you in case of an emergency. You may update your contact information at any time, making it easy to keep your information current. Americans living abroad can also obtain routine information from the nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate. Please enroll by clicking here or by visiting https://travel.state.gov/content/passports/en/go/step.html/.
