Contract Pricing and Specification Archive Update (May 2015)

Effective May 1, 2015, the contract printing abstract and specifications for Term Contract will be posted to the GPO.gov website after award as an archive for the term of the contract. A list of active Term Contracts/Abstracts can be found at www.gpo.gov/gpo/bidopps/bidopps.action?region=Nodisplay.

Central Office Bid Room

The address for mailing sealed bids is: U.S. Government Publishing Office, 732 North Capitol Street, NW, Mailstop: CSPS, Room C-848, Attn: Bid Section, Washington, DC 20401. The fax number will remain the same (202.512.1782). If hand delivering a sealed bid, place them in the Bid Box located in the GPO Bookstore. Please use the Time Stamp Provided for validation and consideration.

For any hand delivered Bids relating to Acquisitions Services, please contact 202.512.0916 when you arrive at GPO and a member of the Acquisitions Services will receive your bid.

ELECTRONIC ONLY POSTING OF GPO PRINTING PROCUREMENT SPECIFICATIONS (APRIL - 2014)

As part of GPO's printing procurement procedure, GPO had previously posted paper copies of procurement specifications daily for prospective vendors in our Central Office and Regional Procurement Offices. These specifications have also been posted on-line for free and broad public access.

As a result of the rapid adoption of digital technologies by the printing industry in recent years and in support of the GPO "Go Green" initiatives, GPO will no longer continue to post paper copies of procurement specifications. All procurement specifications will continue to be available online at the web addresses shown below.

To ensure that the needs of the public and our GPO vendor community are met, tangible copies of these specifications will be made available upon request at the Central Office and Regional Procurement offices at no charge.

APPLICABLE TO ALL CONTRACTORS WISHING TO DO BUSINESS WITH THE U.S. GOVERNMENT PUBLISHING OFFICE (GPO)

Every contractor seeking to do business with the GPO must first complete and thereafter maintain the accuracy of its GPO Contractor Connection registration with the following mandatory taxpayer information boxes: "EIN/TIN #" (Employer Identification Number or Taxpayer Identification Number); "Subject to Backup Withholding" (See Form W-9, Request for Taxpayer Identification Number and Certification); and, "Current W-9 Request" (See Form W-9). GPO will withhold payment of any invoices for work completed by any contractor who fails to provide these tax data in GPO Contractor Connection. Such invoices will be declared ineligible for payment until all requirements for payment, including providing these tax data in GPO Contractor Connection, have been satisfied.

Agency Strategic Teams (ASTs) currently provides online access to procurement information for applications, various procurement-related documents, general procurement information, and electronic postings of sealed bids by GPO offices nationwide. This online service provides quick and easy access to GPO procurement information by clicking on the links to the left.
