Lari, Snap, Kai & Junior

Aloha!  Lari, Snap, Kai and Junior are good friends of Ilio.  They, too, live in Hawaii and love to be outdoors.  They swim, snorkel, hike, camp, sightsee and fish.  It is important to remember that Hawaii, like other states, was used for training Soldiers, Sailors, and Airmen for war.  These training activities left ammo both on land and in the water.  Kai and his friends want you to know that ammo can be dangerous to you, your family, your friends and community.  Remember to follow the 3Rs of Explosives Safety.

3Rs of Explosives Safety

  • - when you may have seen ammo and that it is dangerous.
  • - do not go near, touch, move or disturb it, but carefully leave the area.
  • - tell a parent or a teacher and ask them to call 911, or tell a police officer.
