Request Assistance with obtaining a copy of the SAE GEIA-STD-0007 for Government use. (1 answer)

I'm not understanding this requirement to purchase a document that the Government has started using which is apparently now an adopted industry standard and we, as a Government Agency, have to purchase a copy when we are directed to the standard for use in Government work.  (SAE GEIA-STD-0007)

I’ve read the history of the document to its supersession. We are researching a claimed requirement through the SAE GEIA-STD-0007 and do not have the funds nor authority to purchase this information. Any help is greatly appreciated. Jim
