DLA places emphasis on many programs and campaigns that impact the organization and the people who do business with DLA. Each campaign, past and present, is featured here to allow customers and employees access to the resources they need, even after the programs conclude.

Hatch Act Guidance
A U.S. flag flying over the CapitolThe Hatch Act of 1939 limits certain political activities of federal employees who work in connection with federally funded programs. The law ensures federal programs are administered in a nonpartisan fashion, protects federal employees from political coercion in the workplace, and ensures federal employees are promoted on merit and not political affiliation.

Warfighter First
Servicemembers unload supplies. DLA strives to place the warfighter first in all it does.DLA’s top priority is warfighter support. The current threat environment is complex, and we must be a trusted and responsive partner to the Warfighter as well as one that is able to anticipate changing and future needs. We will ensure our organization’s goals, processes, and performance are innovative, responsive, and synchronized with the current and future needs of the Warfighters, DoD components, other mission partners, and stakeholders.

Resiliency
DLA embraces resiliency in its workforce, as seen here with a participant in the Winter Warrior fitness programFortifying resiliency represents the things we do within DLA to assist members of our workforce to become more effective in their professional and personal lives. In addition to continually improving workplace safety and the security of our work environment, we will assess, identify, and implement improvements to ensure employees see themselves as valued team members and are resilient in the face of professional and personal challenges.

Sexual Assault Prevention and Response

These acts go against DLA's core values and weaken the organization's ability to carry out the mission. Resources are available for prevention, reporting and assistance.

Better Buying Power asks us to think about the next evolution, one that creates greater synergy with our service partners and incentivizes industry to improve their products.

DLA Hall of Fame
DLA Hall of Fame seal

Lt. Gen. Henry Glisson, the 13th director of the agency, initiated the DLA Hall of Fame in 1998. Through the Hall of Fame, we preserve our history, promote DLA values and celebrate excellence. While honoring our past, the standards and values our inductees represent make the Hall of Fame relevant to today’s employees and to the workforce of the future.
