In this edition of Wednesday Warfighter, 14 year Air Force veteran, Master Sgt. Keri Whitehead, a combat photographer, and single mother, shares her story of her personal war against breast cancer.
Master Sgt. Jeremy T. Lock, a four time Department of Defense Military photographer of the year, documents Whiteheads amazing fight from diagnosis through her reconstructive surgery.
Whitehead decided to allow this documentation in order to provide her daughter, who is four, a way to remember and relate when she is older.
