Rear Admiral Joseph M. Vojvodich

Assistant Commandant for Acquisition and Chief Acquisition Officer
Rear Adm. Joseph M. Vojvodich currently serves as the Coast Guard’s assistant commandant for acquisition and chief acquisition officer. As CAO, he directs efforts across all Coast Guard acquisition programs, acquisition support, personnel, finance, and research and development activities to execute the service’s acquisition portfolio.

Mr. James L. Knight

Deputy CAO & Director of Acquisition Services
Mr. James L. Knight is the deputy assistant commandant for acquisition and director of acquisition services. He is responsible for supporting program management processes and directs offices that handle acquisition workforce management; international acquisition programs; acquisition support; strategic planning and communication; resource management; and research, development, test and evaluation.

Mr. Michael W. Derrios

Senior Procurement Executive & Head of Contracting Activity
Mr. Michael W. Derrios is the senior procurement executive and head of contracting activity for the Coast Guard. In this capacity, Mr. Derrios has responsibility for all contracting functions within the agency, including functional responsibility for more than 500 civilian and military personnel throughout the United States and abroad. The Coast Guard spends approximately $3 billion per year through 40,000 procurement transactions.

Rear Admiral Michael J. Haycock

Director of Acquisition Programs & Program Executive Officer
Rear Adm. Michael J. Haycock currently serves as the Coast Guard’s director of acquisition programs and program executive officer. His duties include management oversight of all Coast Guard acquisition programs and projects for the modernization and recapitalization of surface, air, command and control, and logistics assets in support of the service's multiple maritime missions.
