Coast Guard To Hold Industry Day 2016 May 2

The Coast Guard will hold an industry day at its headquarters in Washington, D.C., May 2 to inform contractors of its procurement goals and notify them of potential opportunities. 

The industry day will support the following Coast Guard directorates and commands: the Acquisition Directorate (CG-9), Human Resources Directorate (CG-1), Deputy Commandant for Operations (CG-DCO), Assistant Commandant for Capability (CG-7), Assistant Commandant for Resources (CG-8) and Force Readiness Command (FORCECOM). The event will also include updates from the Coast Guard Office of Contract Operations (CG-912) Procurement Team about anticipated requirements for the upcoming year, followed by breakout sessions for one-on-one discussions regarding specific Acquisition Planning Forecast System opportunities.

The Coast Guard Office of Contract Operations is soliciting feedback on how it can better communicate with industry during the solicitation and award contract phases. Feedback can be submitted here through April 23.
