Finishing work is completed on the Coast Guard’s seventh HC-130J Super Hercules long range surveillance aircraft after it was painted in early March at the end of the missionization process at Lockheed Martin’s plant in Greenville, South Carolina. Missionization is the process of installing and integrating the Coast Guard-specific radar, sensors and communications systems the plane needs to complete its missions. Delivery to the Coast Guard is expected in April 2016. Photo courtesy of Lockheed Martin Aeronautics.
