Stocks and Securities: Your gift of stocks or securities can mutually benefit both you and the Smithsonian Libraries. Please contact the Advancement Office for additional details and transfer information.

Planned Gifts: Planned gifts include bequests, charitable gift annuities, charitable remainder trusts, charitable lead trusts and retirement plan assets. Your planned gift enables you to become a member of the Smithsonian Libraries’ Legacy Society. With documentation of your gift intention — revocable or irrevocable — you will be recognized as a donor to the Smithsonian’s national campaign. Please contact the Advancement Office for additional details and benefits.

Endowments: With a gift of $50,000 or more, you can establish a named endowment to provide funding for the Libraries in perpetuity. Endowments can be established to support exhibitions, lectures and activities, for general use or for specific purposes such as a book acquisitions fund in anthropology.
