Manufacturers' Shipments, Inventories, and Orders (M3) Survey

Welcome to the Manufacturers' Shipments, Inventories, and Orders (M3) home page. This site is designed to help businesses complete their forms. The Manufacturers' Shipments, Inventories, and Orders (M3) survey is currently the only survey which provides broad-based monthly statistical data on the economic conditions in the domestic manufacturing sector. It is designed to measure current industrial activity and to provide an indication of future production commitments.

The M3 web survey has been revised and is now conducted through the Bureau's new "Centurion" system. The Centurion requires:

A web browser with 128-bit encryption (most browsers released since 1998 are sufficient).
A username and password that is located on the form below the address label.
