Verification, Validation, and Accreditation (VV&A) are three distinct processes which gather and evaluate evidence to determine whether a model’s or simulation's capabilities, accuracy, correctness, and usability are sufficient to support its intended uses.
The Recommended Practices Guide (RPG) describes these VV&A processes from a number of perspectives. The RPG covers the different roles and responsibilities of the various participants; discusses special topics associated with VV&A; identifies tools and techniques, and provides reference material on related areas.
