#1A utility, non-profit, or other organization becomes a local program "Sponsor"

#2Sponsors recruit and train home improvement contractors in local area

#3Sponsors and contractors work together to promote the home performance approach

#4Contractors meet with homeowners to conduct whole home assessments

#5Contractors provide homeowners with a prioritized list of recommended improvements

#6Contractors complete improvements
 

#7Improvements are evaluated by the Sponsor to ensure proper application and installation
 

#7Homeowners begin to experience greater comfort in their homes as well as lower utility bills
