Long Description

RFID operating frequencies are located in the Low Frequency (LF), High Frequency (HF), Ultra-high Frequency (UHF), and Microwave bands.  There are other RFID frequencies, but the four shown ( 125-134 kHz, 13.56 MHz, 860-930 MHz, and 2.4 GHz) in the figure above are currently the most commonly used passive RFID frequencies. The read distances shown above are approximate only. Passive RFID read ranges are affected by the operating frequency, the reader power, interference from nearby RF devices, and environmental conditions. An active RFID read range can be as much as 300 feet.
