Long Description: FedTeDS is an e-Gov initiative within the Integrated Acquisition Environment (IAE). It is managed by DoD on behalf of the IAE. The purpose of FedTeDS is to provide a web-based system that disseminates acquisition-related sensitive but unclassified information associated with an active acquisition or solicitation to Federal Government vendors. Examples of sensitive but unclassified information can include construction drawings, building layouts, security system installations, and any other information related to publicly accessible Government solicitations, but which contains contents that, when aggregated and obtained, could become a threat to national security. A FAR case mandating the use of FedTeDS is currently in the approval process.
