Research and Evaluation Conference on Self-Sufficiency (RECS)

For nearly twenty years, the RECS has been a leading forum for family self-sufficiency and poverty researchers, State and local administrators, practitioners and program operators and Federal officials and policymakers to network with peers and discuss cutting-edge research on family self-sufficiency and social welfare programs and policies.

The next RECS will be held June 1-3, 2016 at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, DC.

The Administration for Children and Families presents the National Research Conference on Early Childhood

Head Start’s National Research Conference on Early Childhood is changing its name! Since 1991, Head Start’s National Research Conference on Early Childhood has highlighted cutting edge research on low-income families with young children. In order to welcome participation from researchers, practitioners, and policymakers across early childhood fields, the conference is now called The Administration for Children and Families’ (ACF) National Research Conference on Early Childhood.

ACF’s National Research Conference on Early Childhood 2016 will be July 11-13, 2016 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Washington DC.
